Britain's Thickest Council Leader - 3 Weeks To Go!

Forget the Cheltenham Festival - the real race is on! Or not, as the case may be, as there remains a sole nomination at the moment - Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council's embarrassing Labour "leader", Darren "The Turdmeister" Cooper!

Sandwell Leader off to add to his prized collection of canine stools!

Despite widespread publicity of the competition to track down Britain's Thickest Council Leader there have not been any other nominations to date!

By popular request the closing date for nominations is now 12 noon on 1st, April, 2015. If your Council Leader is even denser that Dimwit Daz please hurry and e-mail thesandwellskidder@gmail.com by that date!

We thought there may have been a nomination from East Cheshire given this piece in the brilliant Private Eye "Rotten Boroughs" column but sadly not. Even so the piece has resonance in Sandwell. Alas, The Turdmeister does write the "barely literate stream of invective" that passes for his twitter feed but does have his partisan blog written for him by the Council's bloated and allegedly impartial press office (which costs the taxpayer over half a million a year AFTER cuts!)

but in the meantime the moron has not only been following but actively engaging with a whole host  of known troll accounts via Twitter. He was at it again only yesterday!

We have attempted to show Councillor Cooper's credentials for the title but he himself has again thrown down the gauntlet to would-be challengers with a classic "double-header" in a single - childish - tweet:

(Incidentally "Booby" is a derogatory term Cooper uses in regular attacks on a fellow member of the, er, Labour Party. Right on Comrade!)

 Will Dozy Darren soon "ware" the Crown? We shall see....
